We recommend that you read carefully the terms and conditions under which you are making your reservation. It is essential that you accept the following conditions in order to gain admittance to the apartment.
Availability:
Apartment availability will be always be brought up to date in our website. Even then, Barcelona4seasons shall confirm the availability by e-mail or fax within a maximum notice period of 24 hours. The confirmation of availability does not mean, in any case, a confirmed booking.
Confirmation:
Once Barcelona4seasons has confirmed the availability, the client will have 24 hours at his/her disposal (1 day) to confirm his/her reservation. In order to do that, he/she shall make a downpayment of 20% of the total amount plus the administration fees. The reservation will be completely confirmed when you receive the booking voucher from Barcelona4Seasons.
Payment options:
This 20% of the total amount plus the administration fees shall be paid by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by bank transfer. The remaining 80% and the cleaning shall be payable always in cash upon arrival and to person that hands the keys to you, who shall provide you with the temporary apartment rental contract, together with these terms and conditions. Both documents shall be signed in ordet to gain admittance to the apartment.
Change of dates and cancellations:
In the case of cancellation of the booking, the 20% of the total amount plus the administration fees, which you would have paid as a booking fee, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 10% additional will be charged - If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. - In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Changes made by Barcelona4seasons:
Barcelona4seasons reserves the right to make changes to the already confirmed bookings. In this case, Barcelona4seasons shall be obliged to provide the client with an accomodation of similar or higher characteristics, whithout the need for the client to pay the difference. If the client doesn’t accept these alternative options, Barcelona4seasons shall refund the amount paid so far to the client. Barcelona4seasons shall not be liable for further demands or obligations to the client.
Deposit:
It is an essential condition for checking in to pay a deposit against damage (normally 150 euros), which shall be paid when you receive the keys of the apartment. If this amount is not paid, Barcelona4seasons and the property owner shall have the right to prohibit the entrance of the clients into the apartment, and they shall not demand the reimbursement of the booking fee under any circumstances.
The deposit against damage shall be reimbursed to the client once we have checked that the apartment and everything inside is in the same condition as it was when handed to the client. All the apartments will have an inventory, which will be thoroughly checked when the client leaves.
Behaviour:
It is specifically forbidden:
1.- Bringing in any piece of furniture or carrying out any kind of works. 2.- Using the apartment with a different purpose to the one agreed upon. 3.- Carrying out any activities or behaviour not in accordance with hygienic and normal civic standards. 4.- Exceeding the number or people allocated to the maximum capacity of the apartment (except for children under 2 years of age).
Pets will not be allowed unless permission has been specifically granted.
You shall observe the sleeping time between 10 pm and 8 am onwards Monday to Friday, and between 11 pm and 10 am at weekends.
Should you not comply with any of the rules before mentioned, Barcelona4seasons and the property owner shall be entitled to request you and the people accompanying you to leave the apartment without the right to claim any kind of compensation.
Complaints:
Barcelona4Seasons shall not be liable in any case for any inconvenience beyond its control or actions which may arise as a consequence of an accident or force majeure, such as: -Noise caused by works close to the apartment. -Elevator breakdown. -etc.
Complaints made after checking out will not be taken into account, and, therefore, the client shall not be entitled to compensation.
Arrival and departure times:
Check-in: 3 pm to 9 pm. Check-out: Before 11 am.
Checking-in and checking-out times will be flexible and can be arranged provided there are not other bookings made prior or after your reservation. The client must always inform of the approximate arrival time. If the client arrives between 9 pm and 12 am, he/she shall pay a 20 euros extra charge. Arrivals after 12 am shall have an additional extra charge of 6 euros per hour.
It is an essential condition to inform with a minimum notice of one day before the arrival time, otherwise we shall no guarantee the time for check-in.
Departures made after 11 am without spefic permission of Barcelona4seasons, shall involve a extra charge of a full day.
Water/electricity/gas:
Electricity, water and gas expenses made during the stay shall be included in the rent.
Cleaning:
The apartment shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of the client, and there will be a set of bed sheets and towels available per every single person, provided at no extra cost. The client may request extra cleaning service during the stay, depending on cleaning service availability. In the day of departure, the client shall leave the apartment in an acceptable condition regarding tidiness and cleanliness. Barcelona4seasons shall be entitled to charge an extra cleaning service if the apartment is not in a reasonable condition.
Liabilities:
Barcelona4seasons and the property owner shall not be liable for any consequence that may arise of the use by the client of the apartment, including damage, injury, loss caused by fire, theft of criminal behaviour.
